Friday September 19, 2025

1st Pick- THIS IS SUPER HOT NEWS JUST  OFF THE PRESSES - information just released today. If you know anyone with a Belmar address on there drivers license they can bring 1 person with them to DJ'S on ocean ave and 18th ave in Belmar to DJ'S. Starting at 6 pm DJ'S is giving a Belmar Appreciation Night. FREE GOOD FOOD, ONE DOLLAR  AND FIFTY CENTS ALL HOUSE DRINKS AND BEERS. ( Get there as close to 6 pm as after 8 pm the food starts to run out ) ( AND THE BAND HOLME IS PLAYING. They are thanking the town residense for putting putting up with the noisy drunken kids coming out of DJ'S all summer. THEY are trying to keep the towns people happy so there's less complaints to the mayor about the summer noisey crowds. It's for the older crowd towns people and there guests. Its once a year. Anyone with a Belmar address can bring a guests, probably 2 guests. The adults can get drunk tonight. See you there.

2nd Pick - CAPTAIN ERIC AND THE SHIPWRECKS from 6 pm to 10 pm at The Captains inn located 304 E. Lacy ave in Forked River ( 30 min. from Belmar ). This band is made up of music teachers, are really tight playing together and wear matching outfits which give them a professional look. Great cover band and watch for the 1 min. hits where they play 1 minute of 20 top songs in a row. 

3rd Pick - ROCK BOTTOM from 8:30 to 11:30 at The Cabin Restaurant located at 984 Route 33 in Freehold. Really good party band, fine lead guy and gal singers. Fine surrounding players. 

4th Pick - The CLIFFS at Red Rock 8 to 11 pm restaurant located at 14 Wharf ave in Red Bank ( 30 min. from Belmar ). Good large party band with good female and new great male singer, super guitarist and fine surroundings members. 

5th Pick - Beatles Tribute Band at Bar A from 6 pm to 9 :30 pm located at 16th Ave and main st in Belmar.  

6th Pick- PLAN A at River Rock from 9:30 to 12:30 at located at 1600 Route 70 in Brick. Great large bar on the water with very good inside and outside band stands. Check it out. 

Saturday September 20, 2025

1st Pick - The POUR BOYS from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Captains inn located at 304 E. LACY Rd in Forked River on the water and the restaurant has the stage outside attached to the restaurantin in a protective bubble. ( 30 min from Belmar  ). The Pour Boys play a great mixture of oldies and newer best dance cover songs. The lead singer Andrew has a fantastic range and able to go from Taylor Swift to AC/DC. They have great guitarist,  organist and 2 top drumners. 

2nd Pick - 80's REVOLUTION outside on the deck on the water from 8 pm to Midnight at B2 Bistro located at 125 Bayview ave in Bayville. Best inside/outside bar/restaurant out there. Fun fine band of men and women who play the 80's music in costumes. 

3rd Pick - UNDISPUTED band from 9:30 to 12:30. At Moores Tavern located at 402 W. Main st in Freehold. Very Talented band for classic rock hits. FRANKIE Palmer lead singer is excellent and takes requests all night, good surrounding players too. 

4th Pick - SPARE PARTS 8 pm to 11 pm at Jack's by the Tracks located at 10th Ave and Main st in Belmar. Finely remodel but casual dress restaurant. Band can be quite good.

Sunday September 21, 2025 

MUSHMOUTH from 1 pm to 5 pm at Martells tiki bar.  Great outside dance deck on the water. Located at 308 Ocean Ave in Point Pleasant. Mushmouth is my best pick for over 40's rock dance music. Must see. 

2nd Pick- SLAP HAPPY at B2 Bistro from 2 to 6 pm located at 125 Bayview ave in Bayville  ( 30 min. from Belmar ) on the water. Good fun party band. 

3rd Pick - RUCKAS  from 3 pm to 7 pm at Patio bar at 101 channel drive in Point Pleasant. Good outside bar on the water. Band is very entertaining and front man Dave is good with fine surrounding players.
