( This website is for the over 40 crowd. ) Were judging on best bands, best place there playing, and if it's an over 40's crowd. The best fun dancing atmosphere with the most space to dance. ( a great band in a small dance floor won't rate at high as a good band in a large dance floor. This site is for people who enjoy the fun of hi energy rock and roll dancing. Period.

The Best Rock Dance Band Picks this weekend..

FRIDAY OCTOBER 10th, 2025

1st PICK - BRIAN KIRK band OUTSIDE from 5:30 to 9:30 at THE REEF AND BARREL located at 153 Sea Girt Ave in Manasquan. ( 15 min. from Belmar). Even though this band charges $20 for this show, I would suggest you support and go to this show as it is a another good option we have at the Jersey Shore and it doesn't happen that often. As this smaller bar doesn't have the cash to pay for this bigger show, this show is OUTSIDE  and you have all the room in the world to dance and have fun, no lines for drinks either. Brian is a showmen for 30 years, he plays to the crowd. Top notch excellent rock and party dance band that sound like the originals. Really good male singers and female singers, great lead guitarist and fine surroundings players. Worth the ticket price. 

2ND PICK - JOE BARACATA BAND at BAR A from 7 pm to 9:30 pm located at 703 16th ave in Belmar, good large outside and smaller but good inside restaurant and dance floor. Joe Baracata plays rock, party, oldies dance music, the female lead singer is excellent too. Surrounding players are good too. 

3RD PICK is Pick is MOONDOGGIE at The Moores Tavern  from 9:30 pm to 12:30 am located at 402 W. MAIN ST in Freehold. They play good rock cover songs and take requests all night and the restaurant has a good size dance floor and good sports bar and food. Must see show. 

4th PICK is THE RUCKAS BAND at WATERSTREET from 8:30 pm to 12:30 am located at 4 Robbins Parkway in Tom's River. Dave the lead singer is good rock, rock county and soul singer. Really good river views from big restaurant with large dance floor. Good food and prices and casual dress. 

5th Pick is Joe Banano and the godsons of soul at River Rock from 9:30 to 12:30 am located at 1600 route 70 in Brick. Joe is a local star and plays oldies and some newer songs. 

6th Pick is Eddie Testa at Riv's restaurant from 8:30 to midnight located at 1850 Hooper ave in Tom's River.  Eddie is a fan favorite but the dance floor is very small and crowded. 

SATURDAY OCTOBER 11, 2025

1ST PICK  - THE MUSHMOUTH BAND fom 7 pm to 11 pm OUTSIDE at REEF AND BARREL  located at 153 Girt ave in Manasquan, casual dress, big outside dance parking lot area by the band. ( They usually charge $20 but this rare party option is well worth it as i support smaller clubs paying the bands fee upfront and hoping to bring in the crowd. ) MUSHMOUTH will bring the crowd and warm the outside dance floor to a hot temperature. Must see show. 

2nd Pick - is on the daytime. THE POUR BOYS at MARTELLS TIKI Bar from 1 pm to 5 pm located at 308 Ocean ave in Point Pleasant. Andrew the lead singer is a great rock singer and his voice can do Taylor Swift to AC/DC. EXCELLENT SUPPORTING MEMBERS. LARGE dance floor on the BEACH restaurant,  casual dress uu. Come see this great band. 

3rd PICK is The COUNTERFITERS from 8 pm to 11 pm at Marina Grill in Belmar located at 905 south Route 35 at the marina on the water and good size dance floor. REALLY Good rock and roll band. Good male lead and back up singers, good show. Good food, casual dress, great atmosphere. 

4th Pick Spare Parts from 8 pm to 11 pm at Jack's by the Tracks located at main st and 10 th ave in Belmar. They sing all different types of rock songs, small but fancy restaurant, casual dress.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 12th, 2025

1ST PICK  The MUSHMOUTH BAND at MARTELLS TIKI bar from 1 pm to 5 pm, no cover. Really good rock and dance band with good and entertaining male singers and props in the show for fun, good guitarist and crew. Large dance floor outside on the the beachfront. Best big dance floor and casual dress. Must see show

2nd Pick because it will probably rain sunday is EDDIE TESTA from 2 pm to 6 pm indoors at Hemmingways located at 612 Boulevard in Seaside Heights. Eddie is an icon and it's indoors with a big dance floor and upscale atmosphere, fun place.  

MONDAY OCTOBER  13th ( Columbus Day ) MUSHMOUTH from 3 pm to 6 pm at The Sandbox at 326 Shore Drivein The Highlands. Dancing and stage on the beach. Really fun show. Probably a $15 cover, well worth it and the dance floor is sand outside.
