BEADA B aka Don Ward (with the white hat ) the best MC down the shore who is even called a living legend in clubs because of his personality. Not to mention going from a Belmar lifeguard to a Belmar Montego Bay nightclub manager in 5 years, and me aka rockin joe on Saturday NIGHT At The Headliner in Neptune for a dance and reunion party, all welcome, great show.

( This website is for the over 40 crowd. ) Were judging on best bands, best place there playing, and if it's an over 40's crowd. The best fun dancing atmosphere with the most space to dance. ( a great band in a small dance floor won't rate at high as a good band in a large dance floor. This site is for people who enjoy the fun of hi energy rock and roll dancing. Period.
The Best Rock Dance Band Picks this weekend..
FRIDAY OCTOBER 10th, 2025
1st PICK - THE 9 SOUTH at Bar A from 7 pm to 10:30 pm located at 703 16th Ave in Belmar. Excellent rock and party dance band that sound like the originals. Really good male singers, great lead guitarist and fine surroundings players.
2ND PICK - RUCKAS at RIVER ROCK from 9:30 to 12:30 am located at 1600 Route 70 in Brick, on the water, good large inside and outside restaurant and dance floor. Dave the lead singer is excellent. Surrounding players are good too.
3RD PICK is PHIL ENGLE band at The Cabin located at 984 Route 33 in Freehold. They play good rock cover songs and the restaurant has a decent dance floor.
Tough Friday, no more guaranteed good bands this friday. SATURDAY IS GOOD.
( Quick party update : LAST Saturday at Headliner at 8 pm is the annual reunion party for Montego Bay was great. Bring BEDA ( the best party MC, coming out of retirement at age 75, was unbelievably, ) it's a dance party, so what does he do, he pulls people out of the crowd and puts them on the stage in a group for a dance contest, with the crowd doing the judging, and bottles of champagne for prizes. SATURDAY OCTOBER 11th, 2025
1ST PICK - EDDIE TESTA outside at B2 Bistro located at 125 Bayview ave in Bayville. Great restaurant, casual dress, big outside and inside dance floors. Eddie will bring the crowd and warm the outside dance floor to a hot temperature.
2nd Pick - is Brian Kirk band at 12 NOON till 3 ( Brest Cancer Event ) at Red Tap restaurant located at 14 Wharf st. in RED BANK. Really good 7 member band with good male and female lead singers. Excellent horn and brass section. Really good dance band who interact with the crowd. BRIAN KIRK IS A LOCAL ICON.
3nd PICK is MOONDOGGIE at WATERSTREET from 8:30 to 12 midnight located at 4 Robbins Parkway in Tom's River on the water and good size dance floor. REALLY Good rock and dance band. Good male lead and back up singers, good songs, takes requests all night. Must see show.
4th Pick is RUCKAS is at Marina Grill located at 905 Route 35 south in Belmar . DAVE the lead singer sings all different types of songs and his his last set is pure dance music and very good.
5th PICK is NERDS band at Riv's restaurant from 9:00 to 12:00 located at 1850 Hooper ave in Tom's River. Really excellent Rock and dance band for over 30 years who dress alike and play the Nerds stick for fun. Small sports bar, and small size dance floor. Otherwise, they would be my top pick.
6th Pick - FOR DAY DRINKERS - UNDISPUTED playing outside from 1 pm to 5 pm at Martells tiki bar located at 308 Ocean Ave in Point Pleasant. Very Talented rock dance band that also take requests. Big dance floor outside next to the beach. Best outside dance bar.
SUNDAY OCTOBER 12th, 2025

1ST PICK - THE CLIFFS at Red Rock restaurant located at 14 Wharf ave in Red Bank from 3 pm to 6 pm. Really good rock and dance band with good male and female singers, great guitarist and crew. But small dance floor. Has 3 levels to sit, casual dress.
