( a great band in a small dance floor won't rate at high as a good band in a large dance floor. This site is for people who enjoy the fun of hi energy rock and roll dancing. Period.

FRIDAY OCTOBER 3RD

1st PICK - The CLIFFS at Bar A from 7 pm to 10:30 pm located at 703 16th Ave in Belmar. Excellent rock and party dance band thqt sound like the original. Really good male and female singers, great lead guitarist and fine surroundings players. 

2nd PICK - is EDDIE TESTA at Hemmingways from 7 pm to 11 pm located at 612 Boulevard  in Seaside Heights. Eddie plays a good mix of older and some newer rock dance music. He has a good following and well liked. 

3rd PICK  - MUSHMOUTH at Riv's restaurant from 9 pm to 12:30 am located at 1850 Hopper ave in Brick. Mushmouth is a top rock dance band. But Riv's has a small dance floor, so dancing is hard, but good food. 

4th PICK -  is ROCK BOTTOM from 8 pm to 11 pm at Marina Grill located at 905 Route 35 south in Belmar. They play good rock and party dance music. Good male and female lead singers. Fun band and plenty of room to dance. 

5th PICK  -  DRUNKEN CLAIMS from 7 pm to 11 pm at B2 Bistro located at 125 Bayview ave in Bayville. Good rock band, could use more dance music and good dance area outside tonight. 

6TH PICK  -  UNDISPUTED at RIVER ROCK  from 9:30 to 12:30 am located at 1600 Route 70 in Brick, on the water, good inside and outside restaurant and dance floor. FRANKIE the lead singer is excellent and even takes requests. Surrounding players are good too. 

SATURDAY OCTOBER 4TH, 2025

( Quick party update : Saturday at Headliner at 8 pm is the annual reunion party for Montego Bay bar closed in Belmar 40 years ago. The remaining crew and other assorted bars members return and the older crowd  get together and there's a good Dj and fantastic host Beada B having fun all night. )  Fun dance party,  all invited but a $10 cover. Its worth it, i always go.

1st PICK  - EDDIE TESTA band at The CABIN restaurant from 8:30 to 12 midnight located at 984 Route 33 in Freehold. Eddie will fill this smaller restaurant up and be crowded. 

2nd Pick - is NEW POWER SOUL at Red Tap restaurant from 7 pm to 11 pm located at 14 Wharf st. in RED BANK. Really good 12 member band with good male and female lead singers. Excellent horn and brass section. Really  good dance band who interact with the crowd. 

3nd PICK is ROCK BOTTOM at WATERSTREET  from 8:30 to 12 midnight located at 4 Robbins Parkway in Tom's River on the water and good size dance floor. Good rock and dance band. Good male and female lead singers, good songs. 

4th Pick is RUCKAS is at Huddys from 8 to 11 pm located at 20 route 537 in Colts Neck. DAVE the lead singer sings all different types of songs and his his last set is pure dance music and very good. 

5th Pick is UNDISPUTED at Moores Tavern  from 9:30 to 12:30 located at 402 W. Main st in Freehold. Really good Rock and dance band that even takes requests all night. Large sports bar, good size dance floor. 

SUNDAY OCTOBER 5, 2025

1ST PICK  - MOONDOGGIE band outside at B2 from 2 to 6 pm located at 125 Bayview ave in Bayville.  Great dance band that takes requests all night. Must see show. 

2nd Pick -  PAT Roddy at Bar A summer stage from 2 pm to 5:30 pm located 703 16th Ave in Belmar.  PAT is talented but sometimes is all over the place and stops between songs alot which breaks Up the dancing. But he's very talented.

10 Bands at The Patio bar from 4 pm to 10 pm located at 101 channel drive in Point Pleasant. Patio Paluza end of summer event. Great bands playing 3 songs each sharing equipment.  Outside on the water, packed and fun.
